Patrick Sanchez: Songwriter / Producer/ Singer / Guitarist
BIO: For Patrick Sanchez, his guitar playing has always been the key foundation to his songwriting and his voice the exterior of his soul. Like a true independent, DIY artist he writes, records, and produces all of his music. As a high school adolescent, he formed his first band call, “Dirty Sanchez & The V Card Swipers” with two close friends. With a developing dream to become a songwriter and artist he started playing house parties and open mics. After finishing his high school career as a varsity full-back with below average academics, he would focus more on music. In 2009 he would record his first acoustic St. Patty EP while attending Front Range Community College in Fort Collins. It was here he would expand his mind while writing song after song. It took him two years to get the acceptance he needed to get into the best modern arts and media school in the US midwest. Fort Collins was a beautiful disaster of experiences for Patrick, after being robbed and taken hostage at an ATM, escaping, and dealing with the suicide of a good friend in a span of one week. After two year of learning music theory and the ages of music history at his community college, he was estatic to expand his mind further at the University of Colorado Denver. The university had everything he needed to become a better songwriter, performer, and audio engineer. Attending UCD and living back in Littleton where he grew up allowed him to focus and avoid distractions while learning everything he could about the music industry and audio production. He started playing in a band called, “The Immune,” which lasted about a year after ending abruptly in 2012 because of band member availability. His university attendance allowed him to get internships to some of the most prestigious recording studios in CO such as, Coupe Studios and Side 3 Studios. The most significant becoming from his studio internships was landing his first audio engineering job at Audio Consultants Services Inc. which Andy Flebbe at Side 3 Studios referred him to. Here he was able to start his career as an audio engineer and build his professional profile. More determined than ever to start the recording of his first solo album in 2014, he did just that. His audio company allowed him use all the recording equipment available to start the recording of his St. Patty album. Since ACS went under, he decided to buy much of the company’s equipment and start his own recording and audio service company called Persuasion Sound L.L.C.in In June of 2015, St. Patty had released his first self-titled album. Now he has started a new project called Anti Gravity and his album, Infenergy, has released as of Aug. 2018. New Anti Gravity release coming on May 27, 2023.
